NEW YORK, NY – Monday, May 22, 2006
Rabbi Hersh Okonov, Vice President of Friends of Refugees of Eastern Europe, and Mr. Isaac Lieberman of F.R.E.E.’s Brighton Beach Synagogue, presented Mr. Lev Leviev, President of the Or Avner Foundation, dedicated to the memory of his late father, Rabbi Avner Leviev, of blessed memory, with a pair of golden-cuff-links inscribed with the logo of “Or Avner”, at the “Bukharian Jewish Congress 2006 Gala Inaugural Dinner”, held at the Hilton Hotel in New York City on Monday, May 22nd.
Mr. Leviev was deeply touched with the presentation and especially the performance of F.R.E.E.’s Russian Boys Choir “M-Generation”, said Rabbi Okunov.
