Programs & Services Education After School Program
FREE’s After School Program known as the “Jewish Kids’ Zone”, allows Jewish public school children aged 6-13 time to catch up on homework, absorb classes on Judaism, and participate in interactive games and activities with their peers.
The program runs from 3:00-6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The success of the program is due to the professional teachers who plan and execute the exiting schedule. Judaic studies include: Hebrew reading and writing, Jewish history, and the weekly Torah portion. The goal of the program is to fill in gaps in Jewish knowledge not addressed in public school, and to provide homework assistance in general academic studies.
Cong. Friends of Refugees of Eastern Europe (F.R.E.E.) was founded in 1969 by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson.
